Russian helicopter holding “Russian Helicopters” announces the start of the annual competition of design and development “Helicopters of XXI Century” , held in conjunction with the Corporate University of OJSC “UIC” Oboronprom “since 2008.

The main purpose of the competition “Helicopters XXI Century” is to attract young people to helicopter construction, formation of a reserve of young talented designers and engineers in the enterprises of Russian helicopter holding.

Participants invited students and university student teams, the employees of the holding “Helicopters of Russia” and other related organizations. Age of participants – 18-35.

Entries to the competition are accepted until December 1, 2012.

Quest competition consists of two areas:

• Decision cases (real problem situations and specific technical issues relevant to engineers and designers with design offices and production plants helicopter).
• Category (such as design, engineering, project to enhance effectiveness in the helicopter program, the estimated work, etc.)

Finals competition will be held May 16, 2013 , in Moscow, where the finalists will be required to present their projects to the competition committee, which includes technical experts and engineers of the holding “Russian Helicopters”, including of OJSC “Moscow Helicopter Plant.ML Mile “and JSC” Kamov “. Winners of the contest will take place on May 17, 2013 in the exhibition HeliRussia 2013 .
