CAE Bell 412 simulator in Mexico earns FAA Level-D approval

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Simulation has qualified the CAE Bell 412 full-flight simulator (FFS) in Toluca, Mexico to Level D, the highest standard for flight simulation training devices. The simulator was initially approved by Mexico’s Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC). CAE Mexico is Mexico’s first helicopter training facility to use an advanced simulator for training pilots and maintenance technicians. The facility is located at Mexico’s leading business aviation airport, Aeropuerto Internacional de Toluca, Lic. Adolfo López Mateos, and is a convenient drive from Mexico City.
