Bristow Helicopters have had a fleet move, with one Sikorsky S92 coming in and another going out.
Arriving, after being airfreighted in to Prestwick Airport during last week, G-XCII has arrived in the UK for operations on the North Sea. The odd looking registration reflects the fact that 92 in Roman numerals is XCII.
Going in the other direction is a Cougar S92 which has recently completed its lease. It arrived in December 2011in the colours of South African operator Starlite Aviation, and has been repainted in full Cougar colours during its stay in the UK. During its stay, Bristow has bought a minority shareholding and eight S92s Restored as C-GKNR after its stay in the UK as G-CGZS, this S92 departed Aberdeen on Sunday 18th November for its return flight to Canada by air. It’s first stop was scheduled to be Vagar in the Faroe Islands, before moving on to Iceland.
