The heroism of two Jacksonville Police officers earned them a Medal of Merit and a Medal of Valor for their May 26 mission during Tropical Storm Beryl.  One of the pair received a second medal after a July 23 rescue of a woman in the Intracoastal Waterway. (see full story)
