Wednesday 2nd January saw a bad start to 2013 with no fewer than four helicopter accidents in the US already recorded on the HeliHub.com accident pages. Two of these were EMS helicopters, a Med-Trans Bell 407 in Iowa and an Air Methods EC130 in Oklahoma. The former occurred after night fall and took the lives of three on board.
The other two accidents were a fatal early morning frost control flight accident in California, and an early evening training accident in Florida. More details by following these two links
