American Eurocopter is pleased to announce the hiring of Kathy C. Hassenpflug as Senior Manager of Human Resources for its Texas operations.

“We are pleased and excited to add a highly qualified veteran human resources professional like Kathy to our management team,” said Audrey Elliott, vice president of human resources for American Eurocopter. “She has a long and distinguished track record in the field, including an earlier stint with American Eurocopter.”

Hassenpflug, of Grapevine, Texas, has previously worked in human resources management positions for TRW and Animal Health International, and served as a consultant.

In her new position Hassenpflug’s duties will include developing and determining employee relations practices, overseeing legal and government reporting requirements, and protecting the interests of employees and the company according to Human Resources policies and government regulations. She will also manage performance evaluation programs and talent acquisition and employee training.

American Eurocopter employs about 600 people at its Grand Prairie, Texas headquarters where its helicopter sales, service, product engineering, parts distribution and training operations are based.
