Falcon Aviation Services in the UAE is developing a new part of the company’s commercial offerings – helicopter leasing.  Having reported the lease of two Bell 412s last week to Starlite (see Starlite lease in two Bell 412s for Namibia contract), we can now report that Falcon has leased a pair of Eurocopter EC130s to neighbouring operator HeliDubai.

The two helicopter involved are serial numbers 3990 and 4042, and will be re-registered respectively from A6-FLB to A6-DYR and from A6-FLT to A6-HKW, and will be based at Dubai International Airport with the lessee.

HeliDubai is owned and operated by the Government Of Dubai.  Falcon Aviation Services is owned by the emir of Abu Dhabi, and based at Al Bateen Executive Airport.  Abu Dhabi and Dubai are two of the seven emirates which make up the United Arab Emirates.  The others are Ajman, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain
