Premier Turbines, a BBA Aviation company, has been selected by Rolls-Royce Corporation to be a future Authorized Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Center (AMROC) for the RR300 engine.

“We are delighted to be selected for this service,” commented BBA Aviation Aftermarket Services Vice President Business Development, Mike McCauley. “Rotor wing engines are a key element of our long-term growth strategy and this new addition is most welcome. We have complete MRO capabilities at Premier Turbines and a team of field service professionals with the capability to ramp up quickly for RR300 on-site support.”

The RR300 currently powers the Robinson R66 helicopter which has gained rapid acceptance among operators. “We’ve seen the R66 fleet build up quickly since its introduction in 2010,” commented Premier Turbines’ General Manager, Jason Giebler. “With more than 300 helicopters already in service, we anticipate the need for strong field service support and repair capability. Our excellent reputation for our M250 support and our expert field service technicians means we have the resources needed to provide full RR300 service.”

Premier Turbines, based in Neosho, Missouri, is a leading, independent Rolls-Royce M250® AMROC. The company is exhibiting during HeliExpo at Booth #C1216.
