Dedicated to the future Eurocopter EC135T3, the Arrius 2B2 Plus is introduced by Turbomeca at Heli Expo. Born from Turbomeca’s innovation, this new Arrius variant offers technical improvements compared to its predecessor, the Arrius 2B2.

Increased performance, reliability and availability

Its new FADEC system, offers engine’s optimal reliability and availability. Its time between overhaul (TBO) is 4,000 hours. Thanks to its 5% increased take-off power, operators will be able to fly with more payload. The Arrius 2B2 Plus offers as well the best performances at high altitudes and temperatures. Thus, the Arrius 2B2 Plus improves the mission capability while offering a higher safety level.

The Arrius 2B2 was designed to offer a flight profile which allows it to minimize loss of altitude on takeoff when flying single-engine mode and thus to meet the requirements of particular missions in high population density area, such as EMS. Customers also benefit from a computerized maintenance aid thanks to the process of the data recorded from the Engine Electronic Control Unit. The family of Arrius engines relies on a solid experience of more than 2,700 delivered engines, accumulating more than five million flight hours.
