The Board of Airport Commissioners is meeting on Tuesday, April 16 at 12:00 pm (tomorrow) to hear LAWA (the agency that runs the L.A. Airports) propose the closure of one of the only two public use heliports in California.

The Executive Director of LAWA will make a report to the Board of Directors of the Airport Commissioners regarding the closure of the LAX Heliport. The PHPA is asking everyone who can possibly be available to show up at the Board meeting to protest the heliport closure.  This is your opportunity to make a difference.  You will never see another public use heliport in Los Angeles County.
