LOM Praha awarded with $1.3M contract for Mi-17 pilot training

LOM PRAHA, Czech Republic, has been awarded with a contract valued at (maximum) $ 1,3M for Mi-17 flight training of Polish Air Force pilots from 33rd Air Transportation Base in Powidz. The agreement focuses mainly on mastering of advanced operations including flying under IFR conditions at night.

This contract is a result of the successful cooperation from the last year, when the first ever training of Polish pilots took place at LOM PRAHA.  LOM PRAHA provides comprehensive military Mi-17 training by means of its aviation training centre (CLV) located in Pardubice.  LOM PRAHA training portfolio covers basic, advanced, combat and simulated training on fixed and rotary aircraft. Within last two years, LOM PRAHA has provided western style Mi-17 training for more than 70 pilots including US and Afghan pilots.
