It has come to our notice by scanning property websites that the new 4,000 sq.ft (371 m²) are rent-free, courtesy of landlords Land Securities. That fact was missed from the press release issued by London’s Air Ambulance, which merely said “the office move has been prompted by continuous growth”.
Checking the report on the CoStar website, sees London’s Air Ambulance CEO, Graham Hodgkin, quoted as saying “We are extremely grateful to Land Securities for their generous contribution towards our charity’s expansion”
Good news – let’s hope they make the most of it and reach their short-term target of funding a second helicopter and to extend their flying hours. Early this year the charity moved the operational base of their MD902 to RAF Northolt.
