The BHA have told us that their current Chairman Brian Humphries CBE, FRAeS is to retire on 1st June. He will be succeeded by Sir Christopher Coville KCB BA FCIPD FRAeS RAF.

Sir Christopher served in the RAF as a fighter pilot, qualified on the Gazelle and Whirlwind and was a past Chairman of Westland Helicopters Ltd. He is also a Vice President of the RAF Charitable Trust and a published author – in 2007 he had a novel published “Target – The Queen!“, but unfortunately Amazon have spelled his surname wrongly so it’s less easy to find without clicking on the link provided
