During the week of June 3, HAI will move to its new headquarters building. You will notice some service disruptions, expected to begin on Monday afternoon, as equipment is relocated from our current address to the new facility.

Phones, the rotor.com website, and the daily RotorNews e-newsletter will all be offline during the move. Barring unforeseen circumstances, rotor.com should be back up by the end of the day on Wednesday, June 5.

At this time, we anticipate that HAI staff will be in their new offices by Thursday, June 6. HAI’s new address will be 1920 Ballenger Avenue, Alexandria, VA, 22314-2898. HAI phone numbers will be unchanged.

RotorNews will suspend publication after the Monday, June 3, issue is delivered and will resume publication on Monday, June 10.

The new building provides long-term stability with room for growth at HAI, as well as state-of-the-art educational and office facilities for HAI members who may have business in the Washington area.

At the outset, HAI will occupy the top two floors of the four-story building, which house staff offices, as well as a large classroom, a conference room available to any HAI member, and facilities for HAI committees to hold periodic meetings.

“This building will fit the needs of HAI for the next 20 to 30 years, at least, because we have the option to expand into the first and second floors in the future,” says HAI President Matt Zuccaro. “We hope our members will take advantage of and use the facility whenever they have meetings or business in Washington.”
