His experience, commitment to excellence, leadership skills, and proven ability to develop and support FlightSafety’s Information Technology systems and processes made him the logical and ideal choice for this important role.”

Since joining FlightSafety in 1997, Chris has served in a number of roles throughout the company and has been instrumental in developing and implementing programs designed to enhance and transform the experience and services FlightSafety’s Customers receive.

He first served as a Product Marketing Manager, was promoted to Corporate Project Manager in 1999, and then to Director, Business Systems in 2002, where he led the launch of the myFlightSafety Customer portal and other eBusiness solutions.

Most recently, as Director, Strategy & Business Development, Chris led the company’s annual planning process, continuous improvement efforts, and Competitive Advantage Team. He was also responsible for a number of new programs and initiatives. They include enabling Customers to make training reservations, receive training records, and perform other administrative functions online.

As CIO, Chris is now responsible for all aspects of FlightSafety’s Information Technology programs as well as the company’s Competitive Advantage, Continuous Improvement, and Business Systems teams. His leadership will enhance FlightSafety’s ability to respond quickly to the changing needs of its Customers and to provide new and innovative solutions that further enhance the value they receive.

Chris graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, and has also completed advanced management training at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and MIT’s Sloan School of Management. Chris is a graduate of FlightSafety’s Senior Leadership Program and is an active multi-engine instrument rated pilot.
