The 20th Sikorsky S92 is expected to arrive at Aberdeen today or tomorrow for Bristow Helicopters as G-CHYG, having been freighted in to Prestwick Airport on an Antonov An124 yesterday. This will bring the Bristow UK fleet of the type to sixteen – four of the UK deliveries having been transferred onwards to Bristow’s Nigerian operation.
The sixteen include the recent four deliveries for the “Gap SAR” contract – two now operating from Sumburgh and two from Stornoway.
