Erickson Air-Crane Incorporated (NASDAQ: EAC) (“Erickson” or “the Company”), a leading global provider of aviation services to a diverse mix of commercial and government customers, and the vertically-integrated manufacturer and operator of the powerful heavy-lift Erickson S-64 Aircrane helicopter, announced today that it has won a contract extension to a previously awarded, firm-fixed-price contract to provide rotary wing aerial services in support of air medical evacuation and training for the Army Garrison in Hawaii. The award was made to Evergreen Helicopters (“EHI”), a recently acquired, wholly owned subsidiary of Erickson, and has a total value in excess of $10 million.

Udo Rieder, Chief Executive Officer of Erickson, commented, “We’re pleased to continue our work with the Army Garrison in Hawaii, and proud to serve the brave men and women of the United States armed services, which we’ve been doing for the Army Garrison in Hawaii since 2008. We believe that the expertise and experience we gain through this contract positions us well to expand the scope of our air medical evacuation and training services for use in other theaters of operation around the world.”

Specific work location and type of appropriation will be determined with each order, and the Army Contracting Command in Fort Shafter, Hawaii is the contracting authority.
