Brazil – Sergipe state governor suspends EMS helicopter plans

[electronic translation]  Acting Governor Jackson Barreto recommended the immediate cancellation of the administrative act that seeks to hire a helicopter charter service to meet the transportation of patients, complementing the action of the Service Mobile (Samu).This was announced during a meeting with Secretary of State for Health, Joélia Silva, and the superintendent of the Emergency Hospital of Sergipe (Huse), Madeleine Ramos, in the late afternoon of Wednesday, 10, at the Palace of Dispatches .

Immediately, the acting governor convened the Hospital Foundation Board of Health (FHS), and technicians own State Department of Health (SES) for the discussion of priorities at the moment.
