The world’s largest general aviation gathering — EAA’s AirVenture at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wis. — begins on Monday, July 29, and HAI will once again bring the world of rotorcraft to this fixed-wing crowd in a big way. THE HAI HELI-CENTER^TM is right up next to the flightline and about as close to show center as it’s possible to get. If you’re going to be at Oshkosh, be sure to stop by!

For the first time ever, EAA is putting helicopters right up front. The area between the HAI HELI-CENTER and the flightline has been designated a helicopter display area and transient parking. Several HAI members will participate in the display area and inside the HELI-CENTER.

Wednesday, July 31, will be Vietnam Veterans Appreciation Day at the HAI HELI-CENTER. HAI, a commemorative partner with the U.S. Department of Defense’s Vietnam War Commemoration, will have a special gift for veterans of that conflict who stop by the tent. A Bell UH-1 “Huey” is slated for the display area.

Throughout the week, HAI members will have exclusive access to the observation deck on the second story of the HAI HELI-CENTER. It’s a great place to watch each afternoon’s airshow.
