Cotswold Helicopter Centre, the exclusive UK distributor for Helicopteres Guimbal, are delighted to announce the arrival of the fourth Cabri G2 into the UK. The aircraft was collected from the Guimbal factory in Aix-en-Provence on the evening of 25th July and arrived at Cotswold Helicopter Centre’s base at Kemble airfield on Friday 26th july.

The ferry pilot, Martin Lowry, made full use of the Cabri G2’s excellent range, making only two fuel stops and arriving at Kemble with 1.5 hours of fuel remaining. The aircraft is Serial Number 1052 and the registration is G-CHWJ. The Certificate of Airworthiness was issued by the UK CAA on Monday 29th July.

The aircraft is to be operated by Helicentre in Leicester, who will take delivery today, and will be the second Cabri to join their training fleet.

Sales of the Cabri G2 to the UK market continue apace and Cotswold Helicopter Centre currently have three further aircraft on order with the factory with additional orders soon to be announced.
