Dallas Avionics announced today the company hired Tonya Salatino as the Northeast United States and Canada Outside Sales Representative.
In Salatino’s new role with the company she will be responsible for sales and support for 15 states in the Northeast part of the U.S. and Canada.
Salatino is a graduate from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing Management. Prior to joining Dallas Avionics, she built her reputation in the aviation industry writing and posting job descriptions online working for aviation placement company JSfirm as an advertising account manager for seven years. Salatino also has spoken at key industry events. She participated on a panel discussion at a conference for the Women in Aviation International Association. In the two year hiatus away from aviation Salatino also gained experience as a sales representative for a company with specialized electronic parts and customization.
“I missed the aviation industry and jumped at the opportunity to be a part of it once more,” said Salatino. “I missed the people and traveling. Dallas Avionics is respected company with a great reputation. The family owned business atmosphere appealed to me and I am excited to serve our customers throughout the Northeast.”
Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Scott Davis, believes Salatino’s previous aviation experience, will benefit Dallas Avionics customers. “We’re proud to have Tonya join the company. Her familiarity with specialized electronic parts and knowledge with the aviation industry is a definite plus. We anticipate Salatino’s skills to help further our reach in the Northeast United States and Canada.”
