Bell-Boeing awarded $9M for one MV-22 Containerized Flight Training Device

Bell Boeing Joint Project Office, Amarillo, Texas, is being awarded a $9,363,229 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N61340-12-C-0033) to exercise an option for the procurement of one Tiltrotor (MV-22) Containerized Flight Training Device for the United States Marine Corps. Work will be performed in Amarillo, Texas (45 percent); Chantilly, Va. (26 percent); Salt Lake City, Utah (13 percent); Clearwater, Fla. (9 percent); Orlando, Fla. (3 percent); Lutz, Fla. (2 percent); Huntsville, Ala. (1 percent) and Ann Arbor, Mich. (1 percent), and is expected to be completed in June 2016. Fiscal 2011 National Guard and Reserve Equipment, Defense contract funds in the amount of $9,363,229 are being obligated on this award, all of which expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity.
