Helicentre Aviation Academy have awarded two professional ground training scholarships. The ATPL(H) theoretical knowledge (TK) scholarship has been awarded to Mike Standen from Coventry and the CPL(H) TK scholarship to Neil Stewart from Derby. Both scholarship winners have been awarded the full cost of the professional ground training courses they have enrolled on.
Mike says the award is going to help him tremendously in his goal to become a professional helicopter pilot, and Neil is delighted, describing the scholarship as the “icing on the cake” when he’s already enjoying his flight training so much. In an effort to attract new talent to the helicopter industry with the increased demand for commercial helicopter pilots, Helicentre Aviation have announced they will be offering two further ground training scholarships with a closing date of 30th June 2014. These will be awarded in line with the CPL(H), FI(H) and Cabri G2 scholarships already on offer for 2014. To find out more register your interest at www.helicopterscholarships.com
