UK – Eight Months Remaining for Helicopter Scholarships

UK – Eight Months Remaining for Helicopter Scholarships

3-Nov-2013 Source: Helicentre Aviation

Helicentre Aviation Academy announced earlier this year that five Professional Helicopter Pilot Scholarships will be awarded in summer 2014, but for the second year running application numbers are set to be very low.

Between the five scholarships, there is an opportunity for anyone able to meet the pre-requisites before the deadline to apply, from complete beginners who have not yet started training, through to professional pilots and instructors. With only eight months remaining until the 30th June 2014 deadline, serious candidates are invited to make themselves known to the company to arrange an interim meeting with the Chief Pilot to assess their career options

Two ground school scholarships were awarded last month to Mike Standen and Neil Stewart, and Helicentre Aviation are pleased to announce they will be awarding another two of these next year in addition to the three flying scholarships on offer. CPL(H) and FI(H) scholarships were awarded to Pierre Neyses and Morgan Whiting earlier this year. Captain Whiting graduated in August and has been working as a flight instructor at Helicentre Aviation for two months already.

An outline of the scholarships is provided below, and full details are available at www.helicopterscholarships.com. You can also register your interest by visiting www.flyheli.co.uk or by calling 0116 259 0186.
