-Kaman Corporation (NYSE:KAMN) today announced that Jairaj ‘JC’ Chetnani has been appointed to the position of Vice President and Treasurer, reporting to Robert Starr, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Chetnani succeeds Starr in the Treasurer position and joins Kaman from Quanex Building Products, a $1 billion building products manufacturer with multiple independently-run operating divisions, where he served as Vice President and Treasurer. Over the course of his career to date, Chetnani has also held a variety of increasingly responsible positions at organizations both within the United States and India.

“I am delighted to have JC join the Kaman team. He is a seasoned treasury executive with tremendous experience across a wide range of treasury disciplines. I know he will play a critical role in Kaman’s future growth,” noted Starr.

Chetnani received his MBA from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and is a CFA charterholder. He also earned his Master of Management Studies degree from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai, India, and his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Jai Hind College in Mumbai. He and his family will be relocating from Texas to Connecticut.
