Helicopter Association International (HAI) is inviting nomination of candidates for election in February 2014 to fill three vacancies that will occur on the HAI Board of Directors on July 1, 2014.

HAI Regular Operator Members are invited to nominate candidates to serve a term of three years as Directors beginning July 1, 2014, through June 30, 2017, to fill the following vacancies:
• Regular Members – Commercial: two (2) Director positions
• Regular Members – Government Service: one (1) Director position

Article III, Section 3.02 of the HAI By-Laws defines Regular Members – Commercial and Regular Members – Government Service as follows:
• Regular Members – Commercial: Any operator of helicopters principally for commercial purposes, but not including government entities, or those whose principal business is the leasing of helicopters to others
• Regular Members – Government Service: Any federal, state or municipal governmental agency or entity operating helicopters

When proposing candidates for nomination, please give consideration to the type of operation and geographic location of each nominee to ensure a diverse Board. Find out who currently sits on the HAI Board.

Submit the names of candidates for nomination to fill the three vacancies no later than January 11, 2014.

All nominations must be accompanied by —
• A letter of support from the nominee’s employer
• Letters of nomination from the designated HAI representative of three Regular Operator Members, from any operator sub-classification, which can include the nominee’s own employer.

You should also confirm that each nominee is willing and able to serve.

An HAI Regular Operator Member in good standing may submit his/her own name for nomination.
