Universal Helicopters (UHI), with locations in Arizona, Utah (dealership location), Kansas, and California, has placed orders on six new Robinson helicopters. Dr. Gordon A Jiroux, President and CEO of UHI, stated “with the success and demand for enrollment at all of our locations with respect to several different colligate programs, in the last quarter of 2013, we have placed orders for four Robinson R44 Raven II IFR 10 hole panel, and two Robinson R22 Beta II helicopters.”

Searching nationwide several times weekly over the last few years, UHI has purchased nearly all of the R22 Beta IIs and 10 hole panel, IFR Raven II presently available to become part of UHI’s fleet. With purchases for used Robinson helicopters reaching as far as Tok, Alaska, Dr. Jiroux found it necessary to buy new helicopters direct from the Robinson Helicopter Company.

Deliveries of these new aircraft start in early January 2014. Universal Helicopters sees the demand for new Robinson Helicopters to continue to increase in 2014.
