UTair Aviation has selected the Swiss software provider Swiss AviationSoftware to support its aircraft MRO and continuing airworthiness, in particular to create a unified joined platform solution for aircraft maintenance.

Swiss AviationSoftware’s AMOS software module includes a database for all necessary technical data, aircraft statuses, information on their parts and units as well as history of each UTair aircraft operation and maintenance. The AMOS platform provides rational planning of aircraft maintenance and the detection and exclusion of defects as well as procurement of spare parts and expendables, taking into account anticipated probability for failure occurrence, preventive maintenance and other factors, significant for aircraft MRO. The program will provide end-to-end communication regarding fleet technical condition among all UTair Group enterprises.

“The introduction of this first-class software provided by the industry leader will enable UTair to improve its MRO efficiency and continuing airworthiness,” commented UTair Technical director Oleg Lysenko. “Undoubtedly, this is a significant issue in light of the expected delivery of new large aircraft from various manufacturers in 2014 – 2018.”

“We highly appreciated the efficiency of business processes and speed of decision-making process within UTair Group,” said Swiss AviationSoftware CEO Ronald Shoyffele. “The tendering, summarizing, contracting and software installation processes took only a few months.”

AMOS is a full-featured software solution supplied by Swiss AviationSoftware, a global leader in this field. AMOS allows UTair Aviation to optimize, provide efficient control and plan aircraft maintenance to minimize machine downtime and consequently increase the regularity of operations.
