Join Helicopter Foundation International (HFI) and more than 20,000 industry professionals in Anaheim, California, Feb. 24–27, for HAI HELI-EXPO 2014, the world’s largest helicopter trade show! Below are some ways in which you can help support HFI’s goals of increasing the number of future helicopter pilots and mechanics and preserving the history of rotary-wing aviation.

Silent Auction
HFI’s 3rd Annual Fundraising Silent Auction moves online with BiddingForGood, allowing it to reach thousands of potential aviation enthusiasts and bidders. Auction items will be viewable online beginning Feb. 3. Bidding runs Feb. 17–27, and bidders will be able to register and bid 24/7 throughout this period.

Mentoring Program
HFI will offer three FREE mentoring panels on Feb. 24: Pilot, Maintenance, and Industry Outreach to Students. Each panel features industry experts to answer attendees’ questions and provide information on the general requirements of entry-level positions in various industry sectors. Come and learn what it takes to enter the helicopter industry!

Golf Tournament
HFI will host its 5th Annual Scholarship Fundraising Golf Tournament at the Oak Creek Golf Club on Feb. 23. Get ready for a day of fun, relaxation, and camaraderie with colleagues and industry leaders on a beautiful 18-hole course. Lunch and an awards dinner will be provided. Learn how you can participate as a sponsor or player.

Heritage of Helicopters
Step back in time and experience a lineup of iconic vintage aircraft at HFI’s Heritage of Helicopters. These beautiful machines will be on display Feb. 25–27 in the exhibit hall, with experts on hand to guide you through their history. If you or your organization has an historic rotary-wing aircraft and would like to be part of next year’s Heritage of Helicopters or would like to support this year’s display, contact HFI today.
