Cotswold Helicopter Centre, the sole UK agents for Hélicoptères Guimbal are delighted to announce the imminent arrival of the fifth Cabri G2 in the UK.

The aircraft (pictured) is to be registered G-ETWO and will be operated by EBG Helicopters at Redhill Aerodrome in Surrey. It is scheduled to arrive at Redhill within the next two weeks and will be available for flight training with immediate effect. EBG have two instructors already type approved on the Cabri. Additionally, EBG Helicopters have become the second approved maintenance centre in the UK for the Cabri G2. “We are very much looking forward to getting our new Cabri G2 and I will be flying it back from Marseille myself with David Milton our lead instructor” said Ken Faria of EBG. “We see the Cabri G2 as the future for training helicopters, their stability, ease of operation and comfort makes them an ideal machine for PPL(H) training. EBG have received a number of enquires for full PPL(H) courses based on the fact that we will have a Cabri G2 available.”

Andy Moorhouse of Cotswold Helicopter Centre commented that “Sales have been brisk over recent months and we have seven further Cabri G2’s on order for delivery to the UK. Due to its high tech design, enhanced safety features and superb reliability, the Cabri G2 is fast becoming the training helicopter of choice. We are very excited at the prospect of having a total of twelve aircraft operating in UK by early next year”.
