Wysong Enterprises, Inc., (Wysong) announced today the company is celebrating its 25th year in business this month. In addition to celebrating  25 successful years of business, Wysong will be   giving away a Garmin D2 Pilot watch every day at Booth 1523.

“Over the past 25 years we have customized over 500 aircraft,” said Vice President of Wysong Enterprises, Inc., Rodney Wysong.   “Last year alone we completed 12 new aircraft, including 10 Bell 407s, one of the remaining new Bell 427s and an EC130. We also refurbished or performed major modifications on 23 used aircraft. Those aircraft included work on Bell 206, Bell 407, Bell 429, Bell 412, MD 500 and Airbus AS350 aircraft. We experienced the best year of sales in our company history in 2013 and we look forward to continual growth in the future. We hope everyone comes by to enter for a new watch and we appreciate all of our customers that have trusted us with their aircraft the last 25 years.”

Steve Wysong founded the company in 1989 and Wysong Enterprises quickly developed a niche as the premier electronic news gathering (ENG) helicopter modifier in the industry.  The company has modified approximately 200 ENG aircraft in North America.  Steve continues to remain active operating as the company’s current CEO. Today Wysong Enterprises works on VIP aircraft, law enforcement, EMS and other special mission helicopters.

The celebration at HELI EXPO is the first of many celebrations Wysong will share with customers throughout the year.  Wysong is also a long-standing member of the Airborne Law Enforcement Association (ALEA), and  the Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS). The company plans to continue celebrations later in the year at  ALEA, whichwill be held in Phoenix, and the AAMS annual convention which  will be in Nashville, Tenn., not far from Wysong corporate headquarters.

In addition to record sales in 2013, the company also continued expansion.  In order to meet the companies expanding workload requirements, the company invested in a second laser wire marking machine, silk screening equipment for labeling instrument panels and additional tooling.  Wysong also expanded its corporate headquarters by adding additional offices to accommodate the growth.
