Air Rescue Systems (ARS) of Ashland, Oregon and European Air Services (EAS) of Prague, Czech Republic have teamed up to introduce helicopter precision flight and specialized operational training to operators in Europe. With the growing need for advanced and specialized training and relatively few competitors, the two partners have identified great potential in Europe. “We have every reason to assume that the training concepts we have been very successfully providing to US and Asia customers will attract a similar clientele in European markets,” says Bob Cockell, Vice President at ARS. “We have been looking for an experienced partner to assist us in building specialized flight and operational training for pilots and crews. It did not take us long to identify ARS, as they are among the best and most-experienced world-wide,” says Jan Obrman, the CEO of EAS. Under the agreement, ARS will provide its know-how, syllabus, and instructors. EAS will be marketing the services and ARS helicopter operations equipment to European operators (Parapublic, HEMS, SAR, Utility). While the courses will be initially conducted at one of ARS’ existing facilities, EAS will provide a new facility in Europe in the foreseeable future. ARS will eventually train a cadre of Europe-based instructors and remain involved in quality control.

European Air Services (EAS), founded in 2012, is the authorized representative for MD Helicopters in Central Europe with a focus on assisting the MD customer in a broad spectrum of service, support and personalized cared.  Recently EAS has spearheaded a number of additional helicopter-related projects in the region.
