HAI continues to work with the greater aviation community to prevent FAA implementation of onerous and unnecessary sleep apnea regulations for pilots without a proper rulemaking process. The associations have jointly sent a letter to all 100 members of the U.S. Senate urging support for timely passage of Senate Bill 1941 (S.1941), advocating that stakeholders to the sleep apnea safety issue have a seat at the table when further regulation is contemplated.
