Capital Air has purchased an entrol H01 FNPT II simulator, which is based on the Bell 206. This simulator will be installed in South Africa and will be used for the CPL/ATPL , IR courses, Safety & Emergency procedures training , NVG training and Bell 206 Cockpit Familiarization training.

Capital Air is one of the most well established helicopter companies in South Africa, owning and operating multiple types of helicopters. Being open for more than 25 years and having one of the most state of the art facilities in the country, they thrive in making the helicopter industry a better place.

Now with the recent purchase of the entrol simulator they are one great step closer to achieving that. Their goal is to not only to have in house pilots trained to the highest standards but being able to pass that knowledge and experience on to others, this will become so much more achievable with the entrol H01 Simulator.

Capital Air looks forward to the delivery of the Bell 206 based simulator as it will be the first of its kind in the country having a 180° x 80° degree 6 channel spherical visual system capable of multiple emergency, mission and instrument procedures.
