
Babcock International Group PLC (“Babcock”), the UK’s leading engineering support services company, announced today it has received approvals from the Spanish Council of the National Markets and Competition Commission and the Portuguese Competition Authority in respect of the acquisition of the Avincis Group. All conditions to completion of such acquisition have therefore been satisfied. Completion is expected to take place in May 2014.
