Eagle Air Med Awarded NAAMTA Medical Transport Accreditation

Following a comprehensive audit of administrative documentation, medical practices, and facilities, the National Accreditation Alliance of Medical Transport Applications (NAAMTA) is awarding Eagle Air Med with its second medical transport accreditation for their fixed-wing/rotor-wing program. As a result, Eagle Air Med is being award NAAMTA Accreditation and we are proud to have them continue in their role within the NAAMTA Alliance, and thus are privy to the benefits associated.

Nancy Purcell, NAAMTA’s Medical Administrator comments, “We feel our partnership with Eagle Air Med provides a positive and quality medical service to the communities of the four corners, central Utah and Colorado areas. Their commitment to safe patient care demonstrates a high level of dedication exemplified both throughout the organization and in the positive outcome experienced by their patients.”

NAAMTA’s Alliance Members are held in high esteem for meeting stringent requirements that define and influence transport operational excellence. Eagle Air Med again demonstrated compliance in each of the numerous standards, offering documentation on processes for safety, aviation, and medical practices. NAAMTA found their compliance to be evident through employee interviews, on-site evaluations, and process reviews, all of which was conducted using ISO 9001:2008 auditing guidelines.

As an Alliance member we have also found NAAMTA’s web resources a valuable tool for streamlining training, tracking and quality improvement measures.”
By attaining NAAMTA Accreditation, Eagle Air Med, comprising industry experts, demonstrates the depth of their medical transport experience through their dedication to improving patient care and cultivating an environment of safety.
