Airbus Helicopters and Turkey’s THK Gökçen Aviation today signed a letter of intent for three EC225 rotorcraft to be deployed for offshore operations.

THK President Osman Yildirim praised the excellent operations of the company’s current fleet of EC135s, used to perform EMS missions.

“We also look forward to benefitting from Airbus Helicopters’ expertise in offshore operations,” he said.

THK is a non-profit organization that aims to increase public awareness and participation in aviation-related activities. Its commercial arm, THK Gökcen, already operates a fleet of 17 EC135s.
