British operator Elite Helicopters are this week taking delivery of the seventh G2 Cabri in the UK, and thus become the fourth training school to offer the type. Elite Helicopters is based at Goodwood and flies a range of helicopters from Robinson R22 up to AgustaWestland AW109 for both training and charter.

Serial Number 1068 is registered G-UMBL and will be on display at the Heli UK Expo exhibition at Sywell Aerodrome this week and will be available for flight training at Goodwood soon after.

Elite also operates heliports, including all the movements control for Helitech – both at the past events at Duxford and also last year’s city location at the ExCeL exhibition centre in London’s docklands. We understand they are also involved with the running of the helicopter movements for Helitech at the RAI convention centre in Amsterdam later this year.

The exclusive distributor for Guimbal helicopters in the UK is Cotswold Helicopter Centre. Cotswold’s Sales Director Andy Moorhouse confirmed that they are holding orders for an additional eight aircraft destined for the UK register and that further orders are soon to be announced.
