The Los Angeles Fire Department is saddened to announce the off-duty death of LAFD Fire Helicopter Pilot / Firefighter Paramedic Brian Lee.

On Monday, June 9, 2014, around 11:15 a.m, Brian and a civilian passenger were involved in the crash of a fixed wing aircraft at the northwest end of El Mirage Dry Lake.
