Rotorcraft Support adds EC130T2 STC for replacement of NiCad battery

Rotorcraft Support, Inc. has added the Airbus Helicopters EC130T2 to it line of STC approved installations of Concord valve regulated sealed lead acid (VSLA) batteries. This STC allows operators to install the RG350 as a direct replacement of the NiCad battery.

Without the need for deep cycle and battery warning system inspections, this installation lowers the maintenance requirements when compared to the traditional NiCad battery. There are no additional airworthiness limitations associated with this installation. RG series batteries can be shipped standard shipping has HAZMAT EXEMPT which also reduces cost and paperwork when supporting aircraft in the field. All batteries are shipped fully charged and ready to install.
This STC is added to Rotorcraft’s existing approvals for the Concord batteries which include the Bell 407 and 430, AgustaWestland A109/C/E and the Airbus Helicopters EC130B4.
