The Airbus Helicopters Board of Directors announced 34-year-old Emeric Lhomme as the new General Manager of the wholly owned subsidiary in Russia. In a planned move, he takes over the position from Laurence Rigolini, who will continue her career within the holding company.

Emeric Lhomme started his career with Airbus Helicopters in Russia, joining the (then) Eurocopter Vostok in 2005 and moving from the position of commercial director of the subsidiary, through various positions in the head office, and now returning to Russia as the new Airbus Helicopters Vostok’ General Manager.

Emeric got his first job in Russia in 2001 and has spent several years working in Russia and CIS, learning the language and culture, as well as getting first-hand experience of helicopter customer needs on this market.

“I have always been passionate about Russia and CIS and look forward to working here again,” says Emeric. “It is also a very promising market for helicopters. Airbus Helicopters products are the perfect match for bringing reliable and cost-effective solutions to our customers in Russia, and I’m confident that we will further reinforce our leadership on the private and commercial market. Our priorities will be to strengthen our ties with customers, to develop sales in Oil & Gas and parapublic segments, and to broaden our network of partners to provide a wider variety of local services and support.”
