Helitech International 2014 kicks off in just over a month at the Amsterdam RAI Convention Centre from 14-16 October. The event, run in association with the European Helicopter Association (EHA), will feature for the first time a dedicated USA Pavilion attracting companies that have previously not exhibited at a trade-show outside the USA.

Helitech International is pleased to be hosting a USA Pavilion for the first time this year. This new feature presented in partnership with the US Commercial Service offers participating exhibitors an ideal platform to showcase their products and technologies to an international market and brings visitors the opportunity to meet with companies that have not previously sold outside the US.

This is a key development both for Helitech International and for American companies. Tradewind International LLC, Diagnostic Solutions International LLC, Heli-Mart Inc, AeroComputers Inc, Lord Corporation and StandardAero will be exhibiting within the USA Pavilion, and are excited about the prospect.

Kyle Brown, Marketing Coordinator at Heli-Mart Inc said: “We [Heli-Mart] found the opportunity to exhibit in the USA Pavilion highly desirable due to the inexpensive and accessible nature provided by Helitech International 2014. As a company that deals with a worldwide audience, we continually look for opportunities to reach new customers, as well as existing clients. At Heli-Mart, we pride ourselves on an exceptional ability to provide support for our customers. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase the personal touch we provide, by meeting face-to-face with new customers.”

Heli-Mart Inc distributes new and serviceable helicopter parts, accessories and components worldwide. They have an on-shelf inventory of more than $28 million in parts for any helicopter including: MD Helicopter, Bell Helicopter, Airbus Helicopters and Schweizer.

Tradewind International LLC specialises in the resale of aircraft parts to light and medium turbine helicopter operators. “Tradewind International LLC is attending Helitech International for the first time, and we are excited to be an exhibitor at Europe’s largest helicopter show”, said Tom Huismann, Director of Business Development at Tradewind.

“Earlier this year we were approached by the Helitech International team about the all-inclusive, first-time exhibitor package promotion on the USA Pavilion. As a small company, with a limited promotional budget, this all-inclusive option appealed to us. This is our first international show as an exhibitor, and we are in a prime location”, Huismann said. “We are truly an international company – from sourcing our inventory, to serving the operators of light and medium turbine around the world. Attending Helitech International gives us a perfect opportunity to increase our name recognition, meet face-to-face with our European clients, establish new relationships, and to create new opportunities for purchasing parts, accessories, complete inventories, and airframes.”

“The USA Pavilion, facilitated by Reed Exhibitions’ partnership with the US Commercial Service, is an innovative initiative that will showcase the latest rotary products and services from a variety of American companies. It will be a key opportunity for these companies to establish a European business gateway while at Helitech International and will also offer unique networking opportunities with the many international visitors that will be in attendance. One such opportunity will be a networking breakfast on the Wednesday morning aimed at inviting international buyers to the USA Pavilion, offering them the chance to network with a cross-section of the USA rotary wing industry and highlighting Helitech International’s potential export dimension. It will provide USA Pavilion exhibitors the opportunity to network and will be a useful business window at a time of increasing rotary wing sales globally”, said John Hyde, Event Director for Helitech International.

Helitech International

Helitech has long been established as the leading show in the rotary wing market outside the USA. The event was launched in 1986 alongside Offshore Europe in Aberdeen before moving to run as a standalone event at Redhill in 1987. Helitech stayed at Redhill until it moved to The Imperial War Museum, Duxford in 2001. In 2011 Helitech proudly celebrated 25 years of supporting the rotary industry. In 2012 Helitech International was established, in association with the European Helicopter Association, to attract a wider international audience and offer exhibitors and visitors alike the opportunity to network on an international level. Helitech International 2014 will take place at the Amsterdam RAI, The Netherlands from 14 – 16 October 2014. www.helitechevents.com
