Within a few days of each other, the first Cabri G2 helicopters delivered in Asia commence operation in both China and Vietnam.

The first two aircraft in China have been certified by the CAAC, and they have begun operation with X-Square Aviation, which is starting an ambitious training activity in the Shanghai area.  The CAAC delivered to Helicopteres Guimbal the Cabri G2 Validation Type Certificate late 16th of June.  No fewer than ten more helicopters are ordered for two Chinese operators, and the commercial perspective is considerable.

Almost simultaneously, the national Vietnamese operator VNH is celebrating the certification and entry into service of their first two Cabri G2 for professional pilots training.  Operating a fleet of almost 30 Super-Puma, Mi-17 and Dauphin, VNH has a major stake in the region’s Oil & Gas service and training.

In both cases, the contract signed with Helicopteres Guimbal included numerous instructors and mechanics training, maintenance tooling set, and an initial spare part inventory.
