The Airborne Law Enforcement Association (ALEA) held its Canadian Region Safety Seminar from October 15–17 in Ottawa, Ontario. Representatives from numerous law enforcement agencies gathered to hear presentations from a variety of speakers. Stan Rose, HAI director of safety outreach, and Murray Maschmeyer of Edmonton Police conducted the Safety Officers Roundtable discussion on the first day of the event.

Daniel B. Schwarzbach, ALEA executive director/CEO (and also member of the HAI Board of Directors); Captain Don Roby, ALEA training program manager; and Sherry Hadley CAE CMP, ALEA meeting planner and coordinator made this a great forum where local and global safety concerns were discussed, analyzed, and results shared with others.
