Avionics Design Services Ltd. (ADS) specialize in avionics systems approvals for all aircraft types (private through to corporate, commercial and military). The firm facilitates design and approval services for everything from in-flight entertainment systems for the cabin, through to data acquisition and all elements of major avionics installation and design integration. The client base for ADS ranges from small avionics shops to major airlines and some noted OEM manufacturers.

Refocus of ADS

The market and business climate for most aspects of aviation support providers has improved and the future looks promising. ADS is taking this “cross roads” as an opportunity to refocus their efforts back to the core items and strengths that built the firm – DAO services for avionics service, support, sales and installation/repair providers.

As part of this refocus ADS is also announcing the conclusion of their association and professional interests with Midland Instruments Ltd. The two firms are separate, unrelated business units, owned and operated by their respective share holders and employees and in no way linked or “working together”.

The company has a staff of 15 who handle design and certification projects ranging from voice warning systems for helicopters, to TSO certifications of Audio Selector Panels, Interior Systems Design for corporate aircraft, Data Acquisition for flight test programmes, avionics retrofits, or special missions aircraft.
