
Chilean operator Ecocopter is preparing for a new contract with ENAP (Empresa Nacional del Petróleo), the national petroleum company, which starts on 1st December. The company has ferried two EC135s and an AS350B3 down south to Punta Arenas – the South American continent’s southerly-most town. From here, the three will support offshore rigs in the Strait of Magellan for ENAP from Posesión heliport (ICAO=SHES), just north-east of Punta Arenas itself.
The contract was previously held by DAP Helicópteros
