On 1 January 2015, Per Thiesen will take up a new post in Terma’s Group Management as Chief Financial and Operating Officer, CFOO.

“Terma wishes to strengthen the management of the company in a period with growth opportunities. Further, we are in a situation where the defense industry becomes more and more contestable”, says CEO and President Jens Maaløe. He and Per Thiesen will constitute Terma’s Executive Management in future.

“To an even greater extent, I will be able to focus on business development, sales, and product development, while Per Thiesen will focus on internal operations and optimization of processes”, says Jens Maaløe.

Per Thiesen (44) holds an MBA from Oxford Brooks University Business School supplemented with leadership programs from IMD, Lausanne. He has been employed in Vestas since 2007, most recently as Senior Vice President with responsibility for Group Business Performance Management. Previously, he has held senior posts in Radiometer.
