ADAC HEMS Academy GmbH and Reiser Simulation and Training GmbH have announced their cooperation at the BavAIRia e.V. New Year Reception which was held at Reiser Simulation and Training GmbH in Berg/Germany.

“The central aim of the cooperation is most effective training for both the ADAC Luftrettung gGmbH crews and a great number of further national and international helicopter operators,” explains Dr. Roman Sperl, Managing Director of Reiser Simulation and Training GmbH.

“Special emphasis will be placed on development and design as well as on the long-term operation of valuable cutting edge training devices and tools,” says Thomas Hütsch, Managing Director of ADAC HEMS Academy GmbH. In this area, in particular, the cooperation will serve aviation and patient safety by training of the crews in a highly efficient environment.

The first phase of the common project will be the development and production of a cockpit procedure trainer for the EC145T2 helicopter operated by ADAC Luftrettung gGmbH. The procedure trainer is of enormous importance for both type rating (pilot training on new hc) and recurrent training of the crews to keep their proficiency at the highest level.

The setup of this cooperation is long-term oriented and shall underline the focus of ADAC HEMS Academy and Reiser Simulation and Training to create a cost-effective and customer oriented training environment.
