Eastman Aviation Solutions To Celebrate Significant Milestones at Heli-Expo

Eastman Chemical Company will exhibit at the Helicopter Association International (HAI) HELI-EXPO 2015, booth #4004. This will be Eastman’s first time exhibiting at HAI since acquiring BP Turbo Oils, and since developing their dedicated aviation fluids team Eastman Aviation Solutions.

HELI-EXPO 2015 will also be the first US tradeshow at which the newly rebranded Eastman Turbo Oil line of products will be available. Formally BP Turbo Oils, the Eastman Turbo Oils product line features the same reliable products with the same approvals, applications and proven performance that customers know and trust.

In addition to showcasing the new brand names, two major product milestones will take center stage at the show: Eastman Turbo Oil 2197, the world’s leading high performance turbo oil, has recently achieved more than 300 million engine/accessory hours of successful operation demonstrating proven performance and trusted reliability; and Eastman Turbo Oil 2380, one of the most widely used turbine oils in the aviation industry, has now been in service for half a century.

Eastman Turbo Oil 2197 is designed to exceed the demands of current and future turbine engines, and is the oil of choice for any aircraft or rotorcraft that operate on High-Performance Capable (HPC) oils. Eastman Turbo Oil 2380 is designed to achieve an optimum balance of properties such as cold ambient temperature viscosity, load-carrying capability, and cleanliness. Both engine oils can be used in a variety of rotorcraft.

“Our purpose for exhibiting at HELI-EXPO 2015 is to provide beneficial oil education to operators,” says Paul Fridman, Marketing Manager, Eastman Aviation Solutions. “There continue to be a lot of changes in helicopter engines and their operating conditions. With these changes come opportunities for operators to improve their rotorcraft’s performance and efficiency.”

“Using the correct engine oil can help extend the time between required maintenance, and even cut some operational costs, but due to unique operating conditions and the varying engines of rotorcraft, it can be difficult for operators to determine which oil is best for them. We are here to help them make that decision,” Fridman concluded.

Members of the Eastman Aviation Solutions Technical Sales and Support team will be onsite in Orlando, FL, March 3-5, to meet with attendees and answer any questions. The Eastman Aviation Solutions Turbo Oil Guide, which contains extensive information to educate operators and help them select the best oil for their unique needs, will also be available for operators at booth #4004.
