BBA Aviation companies Dallas Airmotive and H+S Aviation unveiled their expanded and enhanced global service network at this year’s Heli-Expo in Orlando Florida. Complementing the companies’ existing facilities in Dallas, Texas and Portsmouth, UK, H+S Aviation announced the opening of its new MRO facility in Abu Dhabi, UAE, while Dallas Airmotive announced the construction of a new 200,000 square foot state-of-the art facility at the Dallas-Fort Worth International airport, which will open later this year.

“Dallas Airmotive and H+S Aviation are OEM-authorized to provide engine service and support to over 20,000 helicopters flying in the world today”, said Peg Billson, President and CEO of BBA Aviation Aftermarket Services. “Combined, the companies are authorized on the PW200, PW210, P6TC, PT6T, RR300, CT7, T700, and M250 engines, which power everything from smaller utility helicopters to larger helicopters used for off-shore oil and gas missions.”

H+S Aviation’s new overhaul facility in Abu Dhabi, UAE is authorized to support PW200, PW210, PT6C, and PT6T engines and recently received the shop’s inaugural PW200 engine from a local customer. “Given the region’s rapid growth and the importance of helicopters to the area’s industry and governments, this new facility allows us to be close to our customers and provide the OEM-authorized service and support our customers require,” continued Ms. Billson.

Dallas Airmotive’s new Rotorcraft Center of Excellence is currently under construction. When complete, the 200,000 sf facility will be the new home to the company’s PW200, PW210, M250, RR300, and PT6T helicopter engine programs. The facility will include three dedicated turboshaft test cells, as well as three other test cells dedicated to turbofan engines.

“Our rotorcraft centers of excellence are just one example of our commitment to industry leading customer service. Over 100 field service personnel and a network of smaller regional turbine centers complement these major maintenance facilities and allow us to provide rapid response times and the quick turn times helicopter operators require,” stated Billson.
